1. Getting Started

What is MyTape?

MyTape is a private social platform for creative people, businesses, and professionals. It combines social networking, work opportunities, and marketplace tools in one ecosystem.

Core sections:

1. Feed – Share posts, videos, and music.
2. Work – Find jobs or hire talent.
3. Market – Sell or promote your services and products.
4. Companies – Verified directory of brands and studios.

How to Create an Account

1. Visit https://mytape.live
2. Click Sign Up
3. Enter your name, email, and password
4. Confirm your email address
5. Personalize your profile — photo, bio, links

How to Verify Your Account

Verified users get more visibility and trust.

To apply for verification:

1. Go to Settings → Account → Verification
2. Provide your ID or company registration
3. Wait for confirmation from the moderation team

2. Posting & Media

Creating a Post

1. Click Create Post in your feed
2. Add text, images, video, or audio
3. Choose visibility: Public, Connections, or Private
4. Click Post

Uploading Media

Supported formats:

1. Images: JPG, PNG, WEBP
2. Videos: MP4, MOV (up to 200 MB per file)
3. Audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC

Uploaded files are processed through FFmpeg for compatibility and optimized delivery.

Editing or Deleting Posts

1. To edit: open your post → Edit Post
2. To delete: click ⋮ → Delete Post

3. Work, Market & Companies

Work Section

1. Browse or post job listings.
2. Use filters by category, type, or location.
3. Apply directly with your MyTape profile or portfolio.

Market Section

1. Sell services (mixing, design, marketing, etc.)
2. Add price, description, media, and contact details.
3. Communicate safely through private messages.

Company Directory

1. Create a company profile with logo and links.
2. Verified companies appear with a blue badge.
3. Manage company members under Business Settings.

4. Privacy & Security

Data Control

MyTape respects your privacy:

1. No targeted ads
2. No external data sharing
3. Fully GDPR-compliant

You can:

1. Export your data
2. Delete your account
3. Manage cookie preferences
4. Adjust post visibility and messaging privacy

Reporting & Blocking

If you encounter abusive content:

1. Click Report Post/User
2. Select the reason
3. Moderators review within 24h

To block a user:

1. Go to their profile → More → Block User
